We were fortunate to return back to Georgia to spend Christmas with my family.  Becca and Hayden also came to visit, which made for a full and fun house.

I’ll leave it to you to figure out why this one is called “baby bow butt”

Before we head off to Morocco, we thought it would be nice to see the National Christmas Tree.  Everything was pretty much the same, except there were no reindeer, but rather a new addition of Santa’s workshop.  Erik and Joseph both loved seeing the tree, but thought that the trains were the best part of the visit.  Getting to spend time with Santa was fun for them, and the picture was actually free.  It’s nice to know that our tax dollars are working for us.

I think that these speak for themselves…

Each year the Norwegian Embassy decorates Union Station in Washington, DC. In addition to a beautiful tree, they have a train set, complete with trolls and typical Norwegian towns. This Saturday we went with Grandma Bergaust, and also got to see some typical foods and gifts for sale by the Sons of Norway DC Chapter.

I just thought that you might like seeing how Norma and the kids decorated our kitchen.

Happy Holidays!
